HTML Feature

The HTMLFeature is used to configure different settings in the Web-front end.

The template can be used to pre-defined features (such as the Smart Importer or PowerPoint Generator) and other advanced customized features (JSScripts).

A subset of the Features can be configured.

The following feature types are available:

WebForm
WebModeler
Hashtag
Custom

In QualiWare 10.10 the following types were added to the list of feature types:

AskList-Create
AskList-Select
AskList-Update
ReferenceLink

Feature type – WebForm

The WebForm is used to create new object, e.g. as a part of a ContextMenu in the Repository Explorer.

The example above creates a new object (ChangeRequest) and link it to the existing object with the link “Concern”.

The WebForm can also be used as a part of a HTMLContentBox in a HTMLDashboardItem on a Dashboard.

The HTMLContentBox contains a HTMLFeature (WebForm) and a link to a HTMLQueryResultView.

Feature type – WebModeler

This type is used in the Repository Explorer in the ContextMenu to open the diagram in the webmodeler.

Feature type – Hashtag

This type enables the hashtag feature in the ContextMenu in the Repository Explorer, to work with hashtags related to the object.

Visualization

QualiWare X contains a 3D visualization feature. The feature can be used on any object or be available in relation to queries and lists. A visualization creates a “solar system” with the selected object(s) in the center.

Repository Explorer

From the repository explorer you can explore and search content in the repository. The repository explorer enables the user to search for a specific object type, list details, and see selection in the preview window. In addition to finding the relevant object fast, the repository explorer also provides easy access to edit funtions, and a whole set off options from the content menu including visualizations, and relations to the object.

Repository Compare

The Repository Compare functionality has the potential to aid all types of users. Quality Managers can for example promote the right subsets of their work from a project repository to the base configuration – thus ensuring that all of the Quality Team’s work has been considered.
